Things to note before applying to AFIT

Candidates interested in participating in AFIT’s Post-UTME Screening Exercise should be aware of the following essential qualifying requirements:

• A minimum UTME score of 200 is required for degree programs, while a score of 160 is needed for ND programs.
• A minimum of five (5) O’Level Credit Passes in pertinent subjects are required of applicants.
• The candidate’s top choice for a school must be AFIT. However, students who initially selected other universities but are now thinking about enrolling in AFIT can submit an application through CBT Centers that have received JAMB accreditation. Such adjustments must be made before September 11th, 2023.
• It is recommended that you complete all O’Level requirements in no more than two exam sittings.
• If a candidate meets the prerequisites, they will be considered for direct entry into undergraduate degree programs at the 200-level.

For its first-degree and ND programs in 2023–2024, AFIT is currently accepting applications. Only candidates with the necessary UTME scores and O’Level credits are eligible. For undergraduate degree programs at the 200 level, direct entry is possible. Between August 18 and September 18, 2023, applications are accepted.
