SSCE CERTIFICATE
Preferably you get your original result from where you wrote your exam but incase WAEC/NECO/GCE/NAPTEB original result is not out by then, you can request for statement of result. Statement of results must have a letter head from your school, school stamp and duly signed by the principal.

Testimonial
You’ll get this from the school you graduated from (wrote external exam). It’s just a summary of the subjects you did in school and maybe position held while in school.

Attestation letter
This is a just a letter of good conduct from a reputable person in the society. It must be duly signed and addressed to Futa’s registrar. Such person can be imam, pastor, lawyer, doctor, political office holder, lecturer etc. Just someone who can be held responsible incase you cause trouble.

Once you get the acceptable format, make sure it is duly SIGNED in at any HIGH COURT (not customary or magistrate), STAMPED and SEALED!

Get that from your local government secretariat or a specialist hospital! Not from church or private hospitals!

Certificate of origin
To be collected from your local government of origin i.e what you filled in jamb. Certificate of origin collected from liaison offices are most times rejected during physical registration.

Registration will start around September/october or few months after ASUU strike is over. To the newly admitted and people who will soon be admitted….start getting these aforementioned documents!

All the very best

So i made a post few years ago which i will be sharing with us, some newly accredited departments might be missing from the post

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR AGGREGATE

To calculate your aggregate, use this formula

Jamb score/8 + post UTME/2

Example:
DammyBrain got 230 in UTME and 72% in post UTME.
DammyBrain’s aggregate =
(230/8)+(72/2)
28.75+36=64.75%

With 64.75, it’s crystal clear that DammyBrain cannot get Civil Engineering if he applied for Civil Engineering

A condition is attached to every admission in FUTA.

Irrespective of the cut off of any department in FUTA, before you can be admitted to FUTA, you must have at least 52% in post UTME, the same way you must have at least 180 in JAMB.

Even if you have 400 in UTME and 48% in post UTME, and the cut off of your department is 20%, you will not be admitted because you scores below 52% in post UTME.

For predegree students, it’s 48% in the stead of 52%

THE FUTA POST UTME

FUTA post UTME tests how smart you are and not how brilliant you are. If you are brilliant but not smart, your failure is waiting for you.

The smartness has to do with being brilliant, how fast and accurate you can answer questions and how effective your prayers can work.

QUESTIONS

As simple as the questions are, they are very easy to fail. They are very tricky.

You will only sit for four subjects(Your Jamb subjects)
English is compulsory for everyone and you will have just 7 questions
The other three subjects has 6 questions each
In total, you will have 25 questions and you have 30 mins to answer the 25 questions.
A question carries 4 marks. That is to say, if you miss a question, you lose four marks, miss 10 questions and lose 40 marks.

TIPS ON HOW TO PASS FUTA POSTUTME
Study very well. Studying is different from reading ooo
Practice the past questions as if your life depends on it.
Ensure you know the answers to the past questions and their solutions by heart, do not cram.
Work on your accuracy, be calm and fast while answering questions.
A minute in FUTA is 30 seconds naturally. To save time, answer the questions you know first.
Pray and pray very well.

NOTE
Just as 180 is the general JAMB cut off mark for FUTA, FUTA itself has a general cut off mark in its post UTME and that’s 52%. If you score less than 52% in your post UTME, you will not be considered for admission for any course at all.
Assuming you had 400 in JAMB but got 48% in post UTME and the cut off for the course you’re aspiring to study is 47.5. Yeah, your aggregate is 72% and you’re supposed to be on merit list for exceeding the cut off with great score but because you didn’t have at least 52% in post UTME, that’s a foul for you as you won’t be considered for admission into any department at all.
Predegree students with 48% might be considered

FUTA POST UTME
AREA OF CONCENTRATION BY “psammy”

Hi, you heard FUTA will only set 25 questions in all and you’re tensed and scared of the areas you need to read, when you will get just 6 questions in Physics out of the numerous topics we have in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and so on.
Panic not, PSALMMY has simplified the complexity by compounding the area of Concentration in the core subjects. This is not the best time for you to relent because you had a very high jamb score or be discouraged because your score was below your expectations. Start studying now for Post UTME is a great determinant of one’s admission. Don’t waste your high score.

Nonetheless, I will advise to also study out of the box.
