The POLYTECHNIC IBADAN: PROCEDURE TO PAY ACCEPTANCE FEE AND PRINTING OFFER OF ADMISSION SLIP

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO PROGRAMME FOR THE 2024/2025 SESSION

PROCEDURE FOR FULL TIME ND ADMISSION REGISTRATION

1. You must have uploaded on CAPS the results that qualified you for the programmes you applied for
2. You must have been ADMITTED by jamb, accepted the admission and print out the following documents
   A. JAMB Result Slip
   B. JAMB Admission letter
   C. You must also print out The Polytechnic, Ibadan Admission Slip

PROCEDURE TO PAY ACCEPTANCE FEE AND PRINTING OFFER OF ADMISSION SLIP

1. Login to The Polytechnic, Ibadan application portal
2. Click on the admission status
3. Once you have been admitted, click on continue registration.
4. Step number 3 will take you to the student portal
5. Once you’re in the student portal, you’re expected to create a new account by clicking on “New Registration? begin here”
6. Input your form number and click on proceed to e-clearance.
7. Input your details as requested and create the account.
8. To access your newly created Account, login to (tpiportal.polyibadan.edu.ng/portal)
9. Input your form number and new password
10. To pay your acceptance fee, click on fee payment and select acceptance fee.
11. Once payment is made, ensure to also print out your offer of provisional admission slip by clicking on admission slip on the dashboard.

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

1. Visit the registration portal at tpiportal.polyibadan.edu.ng/portal/
2. Enter your form number and log in your new password created on the student portal.
3. Click on e-clearance and upload the following documents.
   A. Ordinary Level Result (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) with valid result token.
   B. Letter of Admission from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.
   C. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Result Slip as issued by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB)
   D. Notification of Results/ND certificate (for HND student)

PROCEDURE FOR SCHOOL REGISTRATION PROCESS

Please find below a step by step guide to follow during your registration

• Pay your acceptance fee
• Proceed to e-clearance to upload your documents
• Once cleared pay all your fees
• Once cleared proceed to Faculty for faculty registration
• Proceed to your various Departments for Departmental registration
• Health Medical Registration ( once you’ve done this and fully cleared you’ll be given a yellow file that will make you eligible to come and receive free treatment and drugs)

REQUIREMENTS FOR E-CLEARANCE ( ND FULL-TIME AND DPP)

• Ordinary Level Result (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) with valid result token.
• Letter of Admission from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board ( Full Time only)
• Part-time application form filled at the JAMB office ( DPP students only)
• Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Result Slip as issued by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB)
• One (1) reference letter attesting to your good character from a reputable individual ( which can be a lawyer, doctor, jurist, clerk/imam e.tc)
• Your birth certificate or sworn affidavit of declaration of age
• One (1) passport photograph

Poly Ibadan Admission List 2024/2025 is Out

Information reaching us has it that Admission List will be released in batches: 1st Batch, 2nd Batch list, 3rd Batch list and maybe 4th Batch.

How to check if your name is on the admission list for 2024/2025

• Firstly, you need to login to POLYIBADAN portal at http://admission.polyibadan.edu.ng/Access.
• Enter your Email Address and Password where required.
• Click on Login to access your Poly Ibadan admission status.
• Once you have visited the portal, follow the steps outlined below to check your name on the admission List.

How To Check Your Admission Status On JAMB CAPS

1. Open your phone browser (Google Chrome is preferable).
2. Visit the https://jamb.gov.ng/Efacility.aspx
3. Enter to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
4. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
5. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns
6. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your POLYIBADAN admission status.

NOTE: Successfully admitted are required to either: Accept or Reject Admission Offer via the JAMB CAPS Portal.All admitted students are to note that Payment of Acceptance fee commences immediately.

Poly Ibadan Acceptance Fee Payment Guidelines 2024/2025

All Candidates offered provisional admission into the vairous Polytechnic Ibadan (POLYIBADAN) full-time National Diploma Programmes for 2024/2025 academic session are hereby informed to commence payment of acceptance fee immediately.

All successfully admitted candidates are to proceed with the payment of Acceptance fee of Thirty Two thousand Five hundred Naira (N32,500) with bank charge of N300 (three hundred naira).

Kindly Login into http://admission.polyibadan.edu.ng/Access and click on ‘Make Acceptance Payment’.

Candidates are required to scan and upload their documents at eclearance.polyibadan.edu.ng.

The following documents will be required for registration at your Faculty:

1. The Polytechnic Ibadan Application Slip, Admission Slip, Acceptance and Hostel Fee Receipt.
2. Passport (Blue Background).
3. O’ level Results.
4. Result scratch card (NECO : WAEC: NABTEB).
5. JAMB Admission Letter (ND ONLY).
6. National Diploma Certificate (HND ONLY).
7. I.T Letter (HND Only).
8. Letter of Recommendation from a reputable individual in the society.

N.B. Late registration attracts a penalty fee of Five Thousand Naira (#5,000)

The deadline for payment of the Polytechnic Ibadan acceptance fee is is TWO WEEKS FROM ADMISSION OFFER.

How to Prepare for the Poly Ibadan Admission Screening

Let’s see how the activities will go for the polytechnic admission exercise.

1. The management will announce the sales of form and requires all aspirants to obtain it online and fill form thereon.
2. Applicants must have chosen the polytechnic as first institution or changed earlier to them as the most preferred (number 1).
3. After the online registration, which will involve filling all your O’level grades and UTME score, you’re only required to print an acknowledgment slip (evidence of completed registration).
4. After this, candidates are to keep checking their JAMB CAPS status . You’re to accept admission thereon if asked to.
5. If admission is offered on CAPS, it means the polytechnic has offered you admission on the school portal too. You just have to wait for the school to load their list online.

NOTE : Candidates with lower marks may not be considered for more competitive courses such as Mass Communication, Business Administration, Accountancy, Science Laboratory technology, etc.
