2024/2025 POST UTME/ DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE

The general public is hereby notified that registration for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME screening begins on 15th August and ends on the 18th September, 2024. Candidates are to register by visiting the university POST-UTME portal, visit nsuk.edu

UTME Applicants

To be eligible for the screening exercise, a candidate Must:

1. Have participated in the 2024 unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have chosen Nasarawa State University, Keffi as 1st choice of institution in the 2024 UTME.
2. Have scored not less than 200 marks for law, 180 for community Health, Health Information Management, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering and 170 for all other programmes.
3. Possess at least five (5) “O” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry Applicants

fOR Direct Entry Applicants, candidateS MUST:

1. Possess a minimum of lower credit in National Diploma (ND) and Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education, (NCE), Eight (8) Points in IJMB for Direct Entry.
2. Possess at least five (5) “o” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

Note: Candidates MUST ensure that their POST-UTME Screening is successful; as only candidates whose slip is successful shall be considered for admission. Candidates should also note that, phone number used in filling this application MUST be that of the candidate.

UPLOAD OF “O” LEVEL RESULTS ON JAMB PROFILE: UTME and Direct Entry candidates should note that in addition to the above Post-UTME Registration, they are equally required to visit JAMB accredited CBT centres to upload their “O” Level / “A” Level results on their JAMB profile. are advised to MONITOR their admission status on their JAMB portal. There would be a grace period of (4) weeks within which all approved admissions MUST be accepted by the candidates. Failure of a candidate to accept the admission where offered, shall call for cancellation of such admission, and the candidates would be placed under the “refusal to accept category” and rendered ineligible to be re-admitted.

Candidate should also note that POST-UTME Screening is MANDATORY. Any candidate who FAILS to participate would not be considered for admission.

The cut off mark for federal university of nasarawa is now officially announced as 170 and the screening will start from the 15th of this month

UTME SCREENING FOR THE 2024/2025 SESSION ADMISSION EXERCISE

This to Inform candidates who applied for admission into degree programmes of Federal University of Lafia for the 2024/2025 Academic Session, to register for post-UTME screening online.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SCREENING

i. Five (5) O’ Level credits in relevant subjects (including Mathematics and English Language) in not more than two (2) sittings.

ii. A JAMB UTME score of 170 and above (200 and above for Human Anatomy and Physiology, 210 for Nursing and Radiography, 220 for MLS and 230 for MBBS and other programmes Cut-Off below).

iii. A minimum of Merit (or Lower Credit) grade for Direct Entry candidates

iv. Must have chosen Federal University of Lafia as their first choice.

The current UTME Cut off Mark for FULAFIA is  200 for Human Anatomy and Physiology, 210 for Nursing and Radiography, 220 for MLS and 230 for MBBS 170 for all others. The Federal University, Lafia, Nasarawa is inviting candidates who made FULAFIA their first choice in the recently concluded UTME for admission into their department of choice.

FULAFIA also has supplementary forms for candidates who did not meet the minimum cut off point for their department. Candidates are expected to have at least 5 Credits in their WASSCE or NECO Result in addition to scoring at least 170 in the UTME. That is the current cut off mark for all the departments in FULAFIA. FULAFIA Departmental cut off mark is 170. Subsequent changes to this cut off mark will be updated on The Federal University, Lafia, Nasarawa website. It has been stated that only candidates who put FULAFIA as their first choice are eligible to apply.
